Craig Gilbert :  16 yrs. experience in the industry

Laser Tattoo Removal Expert

Craig Gilbert has been part of the Adrenaline VanCity studio since 2010. Over the years, his path has taken him from shop manager and piercer to the laser removal specialist he is today.


Having grown up in the tattoo world, Craig brings a deep understanding of both the art and the people behind it, making him a natural fit as the technical lead at NIXX Tattoo Removal. Since entering the laser removal field in 2017, Craig has gained international recognition for his work.


Clients travel from across Canada and around the world to work with him, not just for his precision and attention to detail, but for the care and reassurance he brings to every treatment. Craig is deeply committed to thoughtful removal, client safety, and creating a supportive, respectful experience from the first consultation through to the final session.

Jenny Ertl :  10 yrs. experience in the industry

Jenny Ertl is another deeply valued member of the Adrenaline family who is a part of the NIXX team.


Jenny double-duties as the Assistant Manager of Adrenaline VanCity’s West 4th Avenue Kitsilano location and as the shop’s tattoo removal specialist. Clients get the best of both worlds from Jenny's experience in delivering exceptional customer service and top-tier results as a laser tattoo removal technician.


It’s been nearly a decade since she was an apprentice (2017), and given the body of work that she has done thus far, we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes for her clients over the years to come.

Laurel Diana : 8 yrs. experience in the industry

Laurel has been part of the Adrenaline team since 2018, working across multiple roles before beginning her laser tattoo removal apprenticeship under Craig Gilbert in 2022.


With a background in Fine Arts and a profound interest in tattooing, she brings both creativity and care to her work. Laurel focuses on making clients feel comfortable, heard, and supported, especially during what can be an emotional process.


Building real connections is at the heart of the work. By approaching each treatment with empathy & honesty, she aims to give clients a more positive, affirming experience: one rooted in care, understanding, and possibility.

Ashley Cook : 14 yrs. experience in the industry

Laser Tattoo Removal Technician

Ashley is a tattoo artist with over 14 years of experience, having begun her career at Adrenaline, where she worked for five years, developing a strong technical foundation.


In early spring 2025, she pursued advanced training in laser tattoo removal at All Body Laser Corp and recently graduated with a diploma in Medical Laser Aesthetics.


By combining tattoo artistry with laser removal, Ashley offers a comprehensive approach to skin transformation. Her greatest fulfillment comes from helping clients move forward through both meaningful tattooing and safe, effective removal.
